RS Powerleveling Guide on Runecrafting for P2P Players

There are a lot more ways for Members to train this skill than there are for Free players, and often the experience is slightly higher. If you are crafting free-play runes, you should always use Rune Essence rather than Pure Essence because you will save large amounts of money by doing so unless you want a small boost in experience by using the ZMI Altar. Follow the RS power leveling tips on Runecrafting below and you will level up this skill much faster.

Level 1-5:

At this point, just like free players you only have one choice - Air Runes.

Level 5-14:

At level 5 you get the ability to craft Water Runes. At level 9 you get the ability to craft Earth Runes.

Level 14-20:

At level 14 you get the ability to craft Fire Runes. These provide the best Runecrafting experience you can gain on your own without using the Abyss if you have a good supply of Rings of Dueling.

Level 20-27:

If you craft Fire Runes using a Ring of Duelling, carry on with it. This is the best way for training runecrafting at the levels.

Level 27-44:

At level 27 Runecrafting you get the ability to craft Cosmic Runes. At high Agility levels these can give you over 8700 exp per hour using Abyss. Or keep crafting fire rune using dueling ring.

Level 44-54:

You can make nature runes now, but we suggest you keep training on fire runes using dueling ring. Crafting nature runes gives little exp, and the runes are cheap, so we suggest you do fire runes.

Level 54-65:

At level 54 Runecrafting you get the ability to craft Law Runes. If you want to make some money, make Law Runes using Abyss if you have high defense levels. If you wish for slightly faster experience, using the ZMI Altar will produce what you want. Due to the changing amounts of each Rune you craft as you get higher levels, this is a point where you can build up quite a few Astral Runes for times of desperate need.

Level 65-91:

Use the ZMI Altar will be a great help. At these levels it can provide 20,000-30,000+ experience per hour. So ZMI is the best choice for leveling from 65 to 91.

Level 91-99:

Level 91 is what Runecrafters dream of getting. At level 91 you can make 2 Nature Runes out of a single Essence. If you are using the Abyss and making 90 seconds runs with all the Pouches, you will be making 4400 Nature Runes in an hour! If you are a high enough level to use the Abyss, it is very highly recommended that you use this method since you will be gaining nearly 20,000 xp.

Or you can keep using ZMI alter.

Remember that you can use pounches and familiars for taking more pure essence for more exp per trip.
